Castro Reports For Chiefs Training
Leonardo Castro Has Officially Reported To Training With Kaizer Chiefs
Leonardo Castro has officially reported to training with Kaizer Chiefs for the first time after putting pen to paper at the club.
The Colombian took a leave of absence after signing with Amakhosi, with the reason being that the player had to attend to personal matters in South America.
It has since been confirmed on Chiefs' official Twitter account that the player has begun training with the team.
However, indications are that the player will need to gain the needed match fitness first before making his official debut, as Castro’s last domestic appearance was in an Absa Premiership encounter for Mamelodi Sundowns on October 21 last year.
Chiefs have concluded three new signings for the current January transfer window, with all three players yet to don the Amakhosi black and gold colours.
Now, it remains to be seen when Castro will make his official debut for the club, as the faithful Amakhosi supporters wait patiently to see the Colombian striker in action alongside the likes of Gustavo Paez and Bernard Parker.
