Word reaching the Siya crew is that Lucky Lekgwathi has sorted out his differences with Orlando Pirates and the player has been included in Bucs' squad for Saturday’s CAF Champions League game against Esperance.
According to sources within the Bucs camp, Lekgwathi met with the technical team towards the end of last week and is said to have submitted a letter of apology, which the club accepted.
Lekgwathi hasn’t been playing for the Buccaneers in their recent fixtures, following his outburst after he was left out of the MTN8 final against Platinum Stars.
He missed the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-final against Esperance and the Telkom Knockout Last 16 clash against Mpumalanga Black Aces.
But with Pirates looking thin in defence, following the injuries to Patrick Phungwayo and Siyabonga Sangweni, Lekgwathi has been brought back into the squad for the trip to Tunisia.
Meanwhile, Pirates have been boosted by the return of midfielder Thandani Ntshumayelo ahead of their do-or-die match against Esperance.
