Lehlohonolo Majoro is eager for Cape Town City to direct all their focus on the encounter against Polokwane City, despite having to come up against Kaizer Chiefs in the same week.
The former Orlando Pirates and Amakhosi forward joined up with City earlier this month, where he reunites with coach Eric Tinkler, and is looking to get as much game time as possible to rekindle his good form.
“All that I am looking for this season is just to get more game time and obviously score more goals, because I believe the more I play, the more I gain confidence to score goals,” Majoro told the Siya crew.
City begin their Absa Premiership campaign against Polokwane City next week Tuesday, at the Cape Town Stadium, however, more of the hype seems to be around their first MTN8 encounter in the same week, against Kaizer Chiefs on Friday, 26 August.
“The first game is Polokwane (City), it is very important for us to start the season with a win, and if we start shifting our focus to Kaizer Chiefs, we tend to lose the finer things in terms of our preparation for Polokwane. So one game at a time,” the 30-year-old concluded.
