Orlando Pirates striker, Lehlohonolo Majoro’s scintillating form has seen him summit the PSL sharp shooter table with eight league goals in just six starts for the Buccaneers, following their 2-0 victory over Platinum Stars this past weekend.
The Ladybrand-born marksman netted his eighth league strike of the season which now puts him at the top of the top scorers' list, alongside Puleng Tlolane of Polokwane City and Free State Stars' Moeketsi Sekola, however Majoro has been on the score sheet in the past five league matches he has played for the Soweto giants.
With his goal scoring form which has assisted Pirates in earning 13 points from a possible 15 in the previous five league fixtures, the 28-year-old is proving a point to former coach, Vladimir Vermezović who opted to start him from the bench as an impact player during his coaching days at the Parktown-based side.
What could potentially hinder Majoro’s momentum is the red card he received for stamping on Mahlatsi Makudubela during Bucs' league tie against Dikwena. The Bucs man now faces a two match suspension in Pirates remaining eleven league games, an opportunity he would have used further increase his tally.
In the 65 minutes he played "Ballojoro" made 15 passes with 13 being successful. He also had two shots on goal with one being on target resulting in the first goal of the match.
