Kubheka is one of the junior coaches at Pirates and during his time as a professional footballer, Kubheka made a name for himself as a winger for Bucs, before spending over a decade playing for clubs in Asia, particularly in Vietnam and Malaysia.

On his return to Mzansi, after retiring from playing professional football, Kubheka was appointed as a youth coach for Pirates, under the mentorship of Augusto Palacios.

Kubheka is currently in charge of Bucs’ SAB League team and with the guidance of the Bergville-born mentor, Pirates are closing in on the SAB League’s promotional play-offs.

With three games left in the current league campaign, the club needs to win all three games in order to ensure league honours, while also booking a spot in the play-offs, for a chance to campaign in the ABC Motsepe League.
