Former Orlando Pirates midfielder, Lebogang Mothibantwa, says he has been impressed with Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane and his strategy used in the title race.
With Downs in the running for Absa Premiership honours, Mothibantwa has admired the coach’s approach in giving different players a chance to play in his team.
Mothibantwa has been happy in particular for Tebogo Langerman, who has been given a chance in recent matches, after missing games earlier in the season.
“Pitso is doing something now and he is bringing Langerman to the setup to say that ‘I need all the veterans that know how to win this thing (the league).’ It goes to show that Sundowns have depth in their team. Wits (are) going to choke,” Mothibantwa told the Siya crew.
Mothibantwa, 34, is also a coach these days for Young Zebras FC in North West’s ABC Motsepe League.
“I’m also in the running for the league this side. I’m coaching Young Zebras and Buya Msuthu is leading us by only one point. We are playing against each other this weekend,” added the former midfielder.
