Mpumalanga Black Aces’ attacking midfielder, Lebogang Manyama, will not feature for the club again this season, and is instead aiming for the 2016/17 campaign.
The 25-year-old hasn’t featured for Aces since back in February after breaking three toes during a clash with his former club, Ajax Cape Town, and while it was originally thought that it wasn’t a bad injury, he has now been ruled out for the season.
Manyama confirmed to the Siya crew that he would not play for AmaZayoni again in 2015/16, however did stress that he would be back in time to get involved with his next pre-season.
As things stand, Manyama is set to return to SuperSport United at the end of his loan spell with Aces, though given his performances earlier in the season, his loan club may look to make his deal permanent.
However, with Stuart Baxter having since taken the reigns at SuperSport, the Matsatsantsa coach may be keen to run the rule over Manyama in pre-season before the club makes a decision on where his future lies.
