With just four fixtures left to be played in the Absa Premiership before the winner of the title is crowned, Soccer Laduma takes a look at which players have been impressive with their statistics.
Cape Town City’s Robyn Johannes continues to have the highest passing accuracy in the Absa Premiership, with a few Orlando Pirates players following behind on the charts.
Johannes is currently topping the charts with his accuracy on 93.1 %.
In second place to Johannes, Orlando Pirates’ Ntsikelelo Nyauza’s passing accuracy is at 91%, with Gladwin Shitolo following at 90.8 %, Sundowns’ Motjeka Madisha at 89.6 %, Lorenzo Gordinho at 89.5 % and Happy Jele at 88.8%.
Percy Tau is currently topping the goalscoring charts in the Absa Premiership with 11 goals, although sharing the position with Polokwane City’s Rodney Ramagalela.
The 23-year-old Mamelodi Sundowns playmaker has made 18 contributions to goals in the Absa Premiership so far this season, with his seven assists also topping the charts.
Shots On Target:
Evans Rusike and Tau are currently joined on the number of shots on target in the Absa Premiership with 28, while Ramagalela follows with 23, Amigo Memela 22 and Aubrey Modiba with 18.
Kaizer Chiefs’ Itumeleng Khune continues to lead the charts with 14 clean sheets, however, Denis Onyango, Patrick Tignyemb and Richard Ofori all have the chance to catch up with Khune, as they all have kept 10 clean sheets so far, with four fixtures still left to be played.
