News reaching the Siya crew is that Clinton Larsen is set to meet with Polokwane City’s management, with a view of taking charge of the bench.
The head coach role at the Limpopo-based side has been vacant since Duncan Lechesa’s exit last month, with physical trainer Eduardo Schoeler currently filling the void as the caretaker coach.

Several names have been linked to the City job, including Owen da Gama, Sunday Chidzambwa, Kostadin Papic and Mario Anton Marinica, however it now seems that Larsen could be the man set to take the PSL newcomers forward.

Larsen resigned from his position as head coach of Bloemfontein Celtic yesterday (Monday), in news that shocked the domestic football fraternity.
According to a Soccer-Laduma source close to the Polokwane-based outfit, the club has already contacted Larsen, proposing to meet with him later this week.
City lost to Kaizer Chiefs 3-0 in the Telkom Knockout this past weekend, while Celtic were beaten 4-0 by Mamelodi Sundowns in Larsen’s last game in charge of the Mangaung-based outfit.
