Golden Arrows head coach Clinton Larsen was delighted with the effort his charges put in against Orlando Pirates.

Arrows maintained second spot in the Absa Premiership after claiming a 0-0 draw with the Soweto giants on Tuesday evening.
Larsen felt his charges were too open in their previous match against SuperSport United, where they lost 3-0.
“Firstly, we wanted to make sure that we didn’t concede soft goals today," Larsen told SuperSport after the game.
"We were a little bit open in the middle in the last game against SuperSport and even when we played in the cup against Pirates the last time out, we rectified that. I thought (Jabulani) Shongwe and Cele gave us good balance in the middle and (Musa) Bilankulu when he came in.
“They’re (Pirates) always a team that’s going to overload those central areas and you’ve got to deal with that, you know, so your wingers have got to tuck inside and then deal with the space outside as well, but I thought the boys worked very, very hard today and I’m pleased with the efforts.”
