For the first time since the start of the 2012/13 Absa Premiership season, Mamelodi Sundowns moved into the top eight after beating Orlando Pirates last weekend.
Today will be the team’s final league game of the season, and after a lacklustre campaign, a win will secure them a spot in next season’s MTN8.
The Chloorkop-based side will be hosting Wits at the Lucas Moripe Stadium and defender Tebogo Langerman says that after clawing their way up the log, they will not be throwing it away.
He said they want to finish the season on a high note and finish in the top eight.
“We have worked hard. We have done so much and we can't give up now. We need to finish off the season on a good note and win this game. We want to be in the top eight when the season starts and this is the last chance.
“We know Wits have done very well for themselves and we won't take the game lightly. We are going for a kill in this game,” the former Wits winger said.
