With all four teams in Group A having played to goalless draws in their opening 2013 Afcon fixtures, all four respective goalkeepers have kept a clean-sheets in the tournament to date.
Angolan goalkeeper Lama made some crucial saves in his team’s 0-0 draw with Morocco and will be hoping to duplicate his showing against Bafana Bafana at the Moses Mabhida Stadium later today.
He is confident that he can keep a second consecutive clean sheet. He told the Siya crew that although they will be looking to find the back of the net, they will be focused on not conceding.
"We didn't concede against Morocco but then we did not score as well. Tonight we have to keep another clean sheet but also make sure we score. We have seen South Africa play and they are a good team.
“We just have to make sure that we stop them from opening up our midfield and defence. In that way we can keep a clean sheet and then make sure we score. I know we can do that against any team," Lama concluded.
