News reaching the Siya crew is that Free State Stars goalkeeper Tshepo Motsoeneng may consider leaving the club at the end of the season.
Motsoeneng, 34, is said to be concerned at his limited game time at Ea Lla Koto. The former Santos player was hoping to play regularly this season, following the departure of Kennedy Mweene to Mamelodi Sundowns.
However, new signing Daniel Agyei seems to be higher up on coach Steve Komphela and his technical team’s pecking order at present. The Ghanaian has showed signs of quality since he started playing for the Bethlehem-based outfit.
Motsoeneng had the one-year option on his original contract with Stars exercised by the club at the end of last season.
Platinum Stars, Ajax Cape Town and Roses United in the NFD were reportedly monitoring the player’s situation during the recent transfer window.
