The representative of Kwena Lesley Junior Manyathela has confirmed that the player has signed a deal with a topflight club.
As reported in edition 1186 of Soccer Laduma, Manyathela has signed for Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC.
The player’s uncle Sanny Dube, who is also his representative, has confirmed a deal with the Limpopo outfit for the 20-year-old.
“The boy will be playing for a club in the PSL next season. He has signed for Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila,” confirmed Dube.
“It has always been my wish to help Lesley’s son to play professional football and I am happy that I have succeeded in doing that. He is a very good player who uses both feet and has good technique. I have no doubt that he will score a lot of goals,” he said.
“The club has so far announced Oupa Manyisa and Joseph Molangoane and will soon be announcing him (Manyathela), and that’s why I will not be going into detail about contract details and things like that as the club will communicate those themselves,” the representative confirmed.
Meanwhile, this past weekend the football fraternity commemorated the death of Lesley Junior’s father – former Orlando Pirates striker Lesley Manyathela – who tragically died in a car accident on Women’s Day in 2003 while his son was only three years old at the time.
