Tournament To Offer Talent La Liga training Experience
KwaMahlobo Tournament to give younger a chance to train in Spain
The Siya Crew can reveal that local talent could be afforded a once in a lifetime opportunity to train with some of the biggest La Liga football clubs in Spain.
The KwaMahlobo Football Tournament in Soweto is currently underway in Meadowlands with the finals set to be played on January 6, 2018. As reported by the Soccer Laduma previously, the final will see the attendance of La Liga President Javier Tebas as well as South African Football Association president, Danny Jordan.
Soccer Laduma has now been informed that the best talents on display will be afforded the opportunity to jet off to Spain and train with La Liga giants such as Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
"The KwaMahlobo Football Tournament has for the past two decades emerged as the country's biggest community based football spectacle," said SAFA's Head of Communications, Dominic Chimhavi.
"Now in an unprecedented move both the La Liga and SFFA Presidents will be in attendance and further the best talents of this tournaments will win the ultimate prize of joining the icons of world in training session, added " Chimhavi.
"This will be one of their greatest moments ever in their young careers and wish every one the best," concluded the SAFA man.
The winning team walks away with R120 000 in prizes, a trophy and a Champions gold medals. The runners up will pocket R50 000 and silver medals while third place finishers will get R25 000 and bronze medals.
