AmaZulu have extended the trial of Kudakwashe Musharu by another week. The Zimbabwean striker has been training with the Durban side since last week.
The 27-year-old, who is contracted to How Mine FC in the Zimbabwean Premier League, missed the team’s 3-1 loss to Bantu Rovers on Saturday.
Musharu’s agent, Gibson Mahachi, confirmed to the Siya crew that the player has been given another week to impress at the Durban outfit.
“He will be coming back on Friday. There was an extension,” said Mahachi.
AmaZulu team manager, Japhet Zwane, confirmed to Soccer Laduma last week that Musharu was on his way returning to Zimbabwe for the game last weekend.
Usuthu decided that the technical team would need more time to assess the player and make a decision on whether he is the striker to add to the team for the 2014/15 season or not.
