Golden Arrows midfielder, Kudakwashe Mahachi, has praised Clinton Larsen by stating that he is currently one of the best coaches in the PSL.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma in an exclusive interview in edition 968, the former Masandawana man suggested that his good form shown at the KwaZulu-Natal based PSL outfit, has come as a result of his coach.
“Yeah, we are coached by one of the best coaches here. Larsen likes players who work hard to earn their places. That’s why I’m playing now, it’s because I’m working hard.
“If he feels that you are not working hard, he will tell you that you need to push to get back to your best, "Kuda said.
Since arriving from the Brazilians, the Zimbabwean has netted three goals in 20 appearances for Abafana Bes'thende and has been on hand to assist four goals.
According to the former Chicken Inn and Highlanders man, Larsen’s biggest strength is his ability to advise his players on areas of improvement.
“Other coaches would leave you to do your thing without giving you that feedback, but with him he will tell you, “You must work hard. This is not your level. This is not your game.
“You need a coach who’s honest with you and gives you a fair assessment of your game, whether you did well or didn’t have a good game, so that you can keep working hard,” he said.
Arrows host high-flying Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates in an Absa Premiership encounter at the Moses Mabhida Stadium tomorrow, with the game being scheduled for 15h00.
