Golden Arrows’ winger Kudakwashe Mahachi could be set for some time on the sidelines with a fractured arm.
The star player, who has re-joined Abafana Bes’thende from Mamelodi Sundowns for the new season, picked up an injury on national duty with the Zimbabwe national team.
Mahachi had been called up for Zimbabwe’s upcoming 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea on the weekend. Siya sources close to Arrows have confirmed that the player fractured his arm during yesterday’s training session with his national team.
The 22-year-old is expected to be out of competitive football for more than a month, as he looks set to undergo surgery to mend his arm on his return to the KZN outfit.
