Komphela Wants To See A Confident Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela has revealed that he wants his players to show more confidence on the pitch, following their 1-1 draw against Tuks in midweek.
Bernard Parker put Amakhosi in front but a second-half equaliser spoiled the party for the hosts.
Komphela told the official Kaizer Chiefs website: “We had a better first half. Tuks came back in the second half. Still, we got some chances, but it just didn’t happen on the night.
“We played the first half without too many challenges from the opponent, even though we didn’t have our usual rhythm.
"However, if we exerted ourselves a little more in the first half we could have had at least another goal at the break.
"We need to get back to playing with more confidence, more movement and more rhythm.”
The 1-1 result against Tuks came on the back of their MTN8 final defeat at the hands of Ajax Cape Town.
“We didn’t bounce back as we wanted,” Komphela concluded. “We were not on par, even though we played better than in the MTN8 final. We now have to focus on our next game.”
