Komphela Pleased With Chiefs Performance

Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela was satisfied with his side's performance against Ajax Cape Town at the weekend.
Despite drawing the clash 1-1 at Cape Town Stadium, the Amakhosi coach was delighted with the improvement his players showed.
“This was a much better performance. We played with the same style and intensity that we demonstrated during the start of the season," he told the official Kaizer Chiefs website.
“I hope we will take this as a confidence builder going into the next match.
“We know that we could have done better in terms of collecting the three maximum points, but with this performance you can’t fault anyone.
“I am pleased with the application from the players as it shows that the loss in the MTN8 final is now water under the bridge.”
However, the quality showing produced by his players doesn't mean Komphela didn't see further room for improvement.
He added: “This match will serve as a point of reference. We now have to build on this performance for our next match.”
