Mpumalanga Black Aces have welcomed Nicholas Killas to their training with a view of adding him to the squad. Killas is back in South Africa to try and get a club.
The 21-year-old defender has travelled to Aces after undergoing a trial at Milano United in Cape Town. The Johannesburg-born player spent last season playing for AEK Kouklia in Cyprus’ second division.
The product of Harold ‘Jazzy Queen’ Legodi’s Africa Sport Youth Development Academy turned out for the Cypriot under-21 side during his stay overseas.
Killas is hoping to impress Jacob Sakala and his coaching staff to sign a contract with the side. He made his PSL debut with Aces in the 2010/2011 season.
With the player hoping to play in the PSL again in the near future, he believes that joining Aces would take him closer to realising his dream. Amazayoni are at the summit of the NFD log and could finally return to the PSL if they maintain a good run in the second round of the season.
