Itumeleng Khune is expected to be fit for Kaizer Chiefs’ game against Mamelodi Sundowns on Thursday after training with the Amakhosi today.
The Bafana Bafana captain missed South Africa’s CHAN defeat to Nigeria last weekend with an ankle injury, although his club were not informed of the extent of the damage.
However, it seems that Khune’s injury is not a serious one after he returned to training with his fellow Bafana internationals today after they returned from Bafana camp.
Meanwhile, Reneilwe Letsholonyane also took part in full training today, and is also expected to be available for selection when Stuart Baxter picks his match day squad for Thursday’s top of the table clash.
Chiefs have already spoken of their disappointment at not being fully informed regarding Khune’s problem, though it is believed that his ankle injury will not keep him out of any of the Glamour Boys’ upcoming games.
