The national team, Bafana Bafana, take on the Central Africa Republic (CAR) in a 2014 World Cup Qualifier in Yaounde this afternoon.
The game is being played in a neutral venue due to the political unrest in the CAR, and Bafana captain Itumeleng Khune says there is only one result that counts for this game.
“We know that all the games we play are important but this is a very important game for us if we want to realise our dreams of going to the World Cup in Brazil. The good thing is that it is in our hands and we have to make it happen.
"In our minds, there is nothing on offer other than victory. The players are motivated and are looking forward to the game. We need to make sure we score as early as we can and settle in the game. At the same time we need to defend well and not concede. There is only one result we want from this game and that's a win. Nothing else but a win and every player knows that and we will be fighting for that,” the Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper concluded.
