Bafana Bafana captain Bongani Khumalo is looking forward to Tuesday’s international friendly against Norway at the Cape Town Stadium.
The Greece-based defender said that the players are wanting to build up a winning momentum ahead of the 2013 African Cup of Nations, which commences later this month. He said that it is an honour for the players to represent the nation and that the team spirit within the camp is on a high.
“First and foremost we want to win all the games starting with the Norway one. We have Algeria after that and we also need a win in that game,” said the former SuperSport United player.
He added, “You know, representing the country in such a tournament is an honour and as players we have to show our appreciation by doing well on the field of play hence a win against Norway is the only result we want.”
