Khama Billiat on Kaizer Chiefs’ Clash: It Is Going To Be Tough For Both Teams
Mamelodi Sundowns will host Kaizer Chiefs next week and Masandawana’s Khama Billiat is well aware that it is going to be a tough clash coming up against the Soweto giants.
The domestic campaign will return next week, with Sundowns locking horns with Chiefs on Tuesday, October 17 at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in an Absa Premiership encounter.
Speaking to the club’s media coordinator, Thulani Thuswa, Billiat revealed that the Brazilians need to get their confidence back and the clash against Amakhosi next week Tuesday will be very important for the players and the club.
“It is very important for every individual, for the club, for the history and it is our home game and Kaizer Chiefs is a good team with all due respect, we have to work very hard, we have to watch the videos, we have to watch how they’ve been doing and no matter how things are right now on their side, also on our side, it is not the way we want it, we want to actually be where we used to and we need to get our confidence back, we need to actually do better from all the games that we’ve played so far,” the Zimbabwean said.
The 27-year-old then went on to reveal that Sundowns will not judge Amakhosi on their previous results, saying that all that matters is what happens on the day.
“… It is not going to be how you played the last game when it comes to Kaizer Chiefs and Sundowns, it is what you are going to do on the day, it is very important and it is very important for us also (to) boost our confidence going forward.
“It is going to be tough it is going to be one of the best games both teams are going to have because it is always like that,” he added.
