Kaizer Chiefs don’t have a single player that has scored five or more Absa Premiership goals in 2018/19 so far, and Khama Billiat’s recent goal drought in the league isn’t helping matters.
Take a look at Chiefs' top league scorers in the gallery above...
The Glamour Boys are currently sixth on the league table with just nine games left to play, and it seems unlikely that they will be able to mount any sort of title charge going into the business end of the current campaign.
After 21 matches, Chiefs have had 12 different players score for the club in total, and their top scorer – Billiat – hasn’t added to his four-goal tally since back in October when he scored in the 2-1 defeat against Orlando Pirates.
After the Zimbabwean star, Chiefs have Willard Katsande and Leonardo Castro on three goals each from 17 and 16 games respectively, while nine others have contributed to one or two over the course of the campaign.
It will come as a worry to Ernst Middendorp that, after scoring or assisting nine in his first 16 games, Billiat’s only direct return in his last 10 league games is two assists and the winning of a penalty in the most recent Soweto Derby.
Is Billiat’s current goal return a worry? Who will finish as Chiefs’ top scorer in the league?
