Last season’s Absa Premiership Player of the Season, Khama Billiat, believes that his team will face a far stronger challenge from rival clubs this season.
The defending champions will not be in action in the opening round of fixtures due to their CAF Champions League commitments, which will see them playing their final group stage match away from home against Enyimba.
Speaking to journalists in the build up to the new season, the Zimbabwean has said that he expects a tougher challenge not only for them, but for all of the other teams in the league too.
"Next season will be tougher for us. But not just us but also the other teams,” he explained.
The 26-year-old went on to say that the team will have to work hard to stay at the top of the pile, especially considering the way other teams will approach matches against the defending champions.
“Every team including ourselves wants to do much better than we did last season and to do that we have to work hard. We know teams will come hard at us and we are ready for that but obviously it won't be an easy one for us,” Billiat concluded.
