Right-back, Kgotso Moleko, has not enjoyed regular game time since joining Kaizer Chiefs from Bloemfontein Celtic at the end of the 2011/2012 campaign. In fact, the 24-year-old has made just five league appearances for the Glamour Boys since that time period.
It appears the defender is firmly down the pecking order in the club's right-back department. Chiefs' have relied heavily on Siboniso Gaxa in this role, while Lorenzo Gordinho was also recently given a chance in this position as well.
Yet, Moleko was given a chance in early February against SuperSport United, however he fluffed his lines after earning a red card. His subsequent suspension meant he was unable to take advantage of the opportunity that had come his way.
At the time Gaxa was playing left-back due to the injury of Tsepo Masilela. This had opened up a gap in the right back slot, however his subsequent suspension then led to opportunities for both Simphiwe Mtsweni and Gordinho.
Nonetheless, despite his rather slow start to life at Naturena, the Bloemfontein-born star still believes he can make an impressive mark for the club. In addition, the defender told the club's official website that he has set his sights on ending his career at Naturena.
He said, "I am still learning a lot from 'Pa' and the coaching staff. I am just glad to form part of the squad especially knowing that both the coach and players have faith in me...God willing, I would like to end my career at Kaizer Chiefs."
