After sitting out of training for two days with a knee injury, the Bafana Bafana technical team will breathe a sigh of relief as midfielder Kagiso "KG" Dikgacoi will resume training with the rest of the squad this afternoon.
The Crystal Palace midfielder twisted his knee in the team’s international friendly against Algeria last Saturday, forcing him to miss the side’s training sessions on Monday and Tuesday.
Coach Gordon Igesund has since informed the Siya crew that the former Golden Arrows player is feeling better and will be back on the pitch today. The team will be training at the Orlando Stadium where Dikgacoi, together with the rest of the squad, will be put through their paces by Igesund.
"KG is well. He is much better than he was. He will be training with the rest of the players today and that's the good news to the team as we need all players to be fit at this time with just three days before the first game.
“It is good, he will start training today so we can monitor his progress," the four time PSL title winning coach, Igesund, said.
