Crystal Palace’s Bafana Bafana midfielder, Kagisho Dikgacoi, could be set for a new deal at the club after entering into the last year of his contract.
The 28-year-old has played every minute of Palace’s campaign in the English Premier League this season, having played an important role in their recent 3-1 win over Sunderland.
Now, with the midfielder’s contract due to expire in June, it is thought that the Eagles are keen to tie him down at the club for an extended period of time in the near future, rather than risk losing him to somebody else come January.
If Palace don’t manage to negotiate a new contract with the player by the time he comes to having six months left on his contract, then he is allowed to begin speaking to other clubs, however both player and club are said to be keen on prolonging their relationship.
'KG' played for Bafana in their 4-1 win over Botswana this past weekend, however will not feature tonight against Zimbabwe having left Mzansi to fly back to England ahead of Palace’s big game against Manchester United on Saturday.
