Erasmus: Pirates Aiming For A High Finish
Orlando Pirates striker, Kermit Erasmus, believes that they are now well on course to restart the second round of the Absa Premiership.
The Buccaneers face a tricky away fixture against the struggling AmaZulu, one of the teams that have been very busy in the market during the January transfer window period.
Erasmus told Soccer Laduma that they were now ready for the second round ahead of their league outing in Durban.
He said they won't underestimate any opposition going into the final stages of the season.
"Yes, we are ready for the second round. There are no smaller teams anymore and we have been preparing well for all the games which we are going to play.
“We are aiming to finish as high as possible in the league and to do that we need character which we have been working on during the break and now we are ready," Erasmus observed.
The Buccaneers play away to Usuthu on Wednesday, February 11, with the match starting at 19:30.
