Orlando Pirates striker, Kermit Erasmus, is staying true to his word as he continues to add to his goal tally in an effort to mark the 2014/15 season as his highest scoring season yet since returning to the PSL.
The Bucs marksman previously informed the Siya crew that he planned to make this his highest goal scoring season after having broken past the seven goal threshold in all competitions so far, something which he had not been able to achieve in previous seasons.
The 24-year-old netted a goal in Pirates' 3-1 victory over Polokwane City this past Saturday to register his seventh league goal of the season and ninth in all competitions.
Erasmus is now one goal behind Bucs' top scorer and striking partner, Lehlohonolo Majoro, who is on eight league goals however has not been involved in Pirates' last two games due to a straight red card acquired against Platinum Stars.
Both Majoro and Erasmus will be available for the midweek league encounter against Free State Stars, however as indicated by the crew, both men are sitting on three yellow cards, meaning that should either one (or both) receive their fourth yellow cards against Ea Lla Koto, they will then miss the Soweto Derby on Saturday, March 7.
