Wits' Ethiopian international striker, Getaneh Kebede appears to be close to returning to first team action. The player has been ruled out for a number of weeks after the club gave him time to recover from a niggling ankle injury he is suffering from.
The 21-year-old, who has scored four goals in just six appearances, is said to be close to making a return to full first team training.
His return to Wits' attack is likely to come as a boost to coach Gavin Hunt as Robin Ngalande is the only one in the club's striking department who has registered any goals in the PSL this season.

Kebede's imminent return to action was confirmed by Wits' Assistant Coach, Paul Johnstone.
He said, "Obviously he hasn't trained properly for a couple of weeks so the fitness levels are a concern. That's something we're going to be working on.
"We'll put him through his paces and try to get him ready. The good thing is we don't have a game until next week Wednesday so we have plenty of time, but we're not rushing it."
