The Siya crew can reveal that Keagan Dolly has completed the paperwork that allows him to be considered a Mamelodi Sundowns player from next season.
It is a known fact that the fleet-footed attacker has clinched a deal with the Brazilians, with Roger de Sa having recently confirmed the move to Soccer Laduma. However, Dolly is expected to spend the 2013/14 season at the Urban Warriors on loan as he continues his development as a player before joining the Chloorkop-based side.
Soccer Laduma revealed in this week’s edition that 'Keagz' will be eligible to face the Brazilians, unlike many other players who are not allowed to test their skills against Sundowns after signing loan deals elsewhere, due to a loan clause that has come under much criticism.
He has previously been on the books of Sundowns, although he never really got a chance to play, and will be hoping for better luck this time around.
According to sources, the Westbury-born star has finalised the process of the paperwork confirming his deal with Sundowns and will now be focused on his career at Ajax for the current season.
Ajax Cape Town confirmed Dolly's transfer on Wednesday evening on Twitter, saying, "Keagan Dolly has signed with Mamelodi Sundowns. The 21-year-old midfielder will see out the season at @ajaxcapetown."
