Kaizer Chiefs defender, Tsepo Masilela, will be assessed over the next couple of days before a decision is made whether to take him to Botswana or not.
The 29-year-old defender has been struggling with injury of late and missed the Amakhosi’s last two games, however returned to training at Naturena today ahead of Saturday’s CAF Champions League clash with Township Rollers.
It remains to be seen if Masilela will make the trip or not, however it seems that, as reported earlier, Itumeleng Khune will be fit to travel.
Chiefs’ medical team confirmed Khune’s fitness on the club’s official website, saying “Itumeleng Khune had an X-ray and no problem was found. He just has a bruise which will take a day or so to settle, but it’s nothing serious.”
They also stated that “Tsepo Masilela will be back in training on Tuesday.”
