Chiefs Hunt Leopards Duo
Kaizer Chiefs are believed to have targeted not one, but two Black Leopards players as they continue to bolster their squad for the new season.
The Amakhosi announced eight new players back in June as they undergo a squad overhaul following a disastrous 2015/16 campaign, however, they have stated that they are not yet finished in the transfer market.
It was reported by the Siya crew recently that they were after Leopards midfielder, Meshack Maphangule, and as explained in today’s issue of Soccer Laduma, they are also keen on his teammate, Siphelele Ntshangase.
While Maphangule, 24, is set to cost any suitor upwards of R2 million, it is thought that Bafana international, Ntshangase, 23, could have an even higher price tag on his head.
Chiefs are on the lookout for an attacking midfielder after losing out on Sibusiso Vilakazi to Mamelodi Sundowns, and it is thought that the Lidoda Duvha man is on top of their list of targets.
Bidvest Wits have been linked with Ntshangase in the past, as have Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, but Leopards are likely to put up a fight to try and keep one of their most vital players as they look for promotion in 2016/17.
