Amakhosi Unveil Three New Players

Kaizer Chiefs Unveiled Some New Players At Naturena Today

By Soccer Laduma - Jun 25, 2018 05:03 PM

Kaizer Chiefs were back at Naturena today as their pre-season officially got underway, and they've unveiled three new players to their supporters.

Check out their new signings in the gallery above

While the club is still without a new coach, they do now have a handful of new players after having delved into the market, with Khama Billiat having been snapped up from rivals, Mamelodi Sundowns, alongside Letlhogonolo Mirwa, Andriamirado Andrianarimanana, and most recently, Virgil Vries.
Three of the four players were at the Village today to undergo tests alongside their new teammates, however ‘Dux’ has still not arrived from Madagascar after he was signed following a fine performance at the COSAFA Cup.
Chiefs have another day of testing ahead of them tomorrow before they begin training for the new campaign, although it remains to be seen where they will actually undergo their pre-season preparations.
The Glamour Boys are keen to end a three-year trophy drought under Steve Komphela and will be eager to get their coaching situation finalised in the near future.
Have you been impressed with Amakhosi’s signings so far?

Honestly!! Football is full of surprises. Last month they said Billiat is going to Belgium, today Billiat is enjoying his life in Naturena. Last week they said Tau is going to England, yesterday Tau was spotted at Naturena gates along with his agent. Eishhhh!!! Football can be cruel sometimes. Honestly!!

@SeaGate4 Honestly!! I agree with you that we need to release some players. But as for Shabba and Katsande, I'll disagree with you my brother. Katsande and Shabba are Kaizer Chiefs, regardless of their age, these two are delivering.

@SeaGate4 Parker and Shabba are very important to blend with the new comers especially Shabba. They must just be managed to play a cameo role as-and-when they are phased out. Katsande's impact cannot be replaced now, he is a real soldier and together with Khune kept us intact last season. My Starting XI wish: Khune (Gk), Rama (RB), Zulu (LB), Hadebe (LCB), Ngezana (RCB), Katsande, Molangoane, Shabba, Mahlasela (Midfielders), Billiat (No 10) and Castro (CF). Depending on opponents and strategy, Maluleka can be brought in to provide defensive stability. The likes of Vries, Dax, Paez, Zuma, Moon, Ntshangase, Ekstein, Parker, etc provide strong back-up for the first eleven. All of a sudden, there are plenty options at Naturena to challenge silverware.
