Teenage Hadebe and Philani Zulu were confirmed as Amakhosi players earlier this week by Bobby Motaung, although there were two other names left off the press release.
The Siya crew has revealed previously that Tanaka Chinyahara, from Zimbabwe, and Malian defender, Mamadou Traore, are also training with the club as Steve Komphela has a look at them ahead of the 2017/18 Absa Premiership season.
Teenage Hadebe – Signed
Hadebe, 22, joins Chiefs from Chicken Inn after impressing for his club and while on international duty with Zimbabwe. He’s signed a three-year contract with an option.
Philani Zulu – Signed
Zulu left Maritzburg United at the end of the contract, joining up with Chiefs on a three-year deal with an option after Komphela sought a reunion with his former player.
Tanaka Chinyahara – Trial
Chinyahara is currently a free agent after leaving Hobro IK in Denmark and Komphela is taking a look at the 21-year-old as he looks to bolster his squad for the new season.
Mahamadou Traore – Trial
Traore is a 22-year-old left-footed defender who can play either as a centre back or a left back. Komphela is clearly looking for a player that is able to fit in those positions and the former Al Hoceima man, who is now a free agent, will be hoping that he fits the bill.
Meanwhile, there are several players from the club’s youth development also training with the first team, with the talented teenager, Wiseman Meyiwa, one of many that are looking to take the step up into the senior team this season.
