Kaizer Chiefs target, Karabo Litabe, is unlikely to make any move in the current transfer window after penning a new deal.

As previously reported by the Siya crew, Chiefs showed interested in the player who has been playing for Royal Eagles. In December last year, the crew reported that Chiefs officials had been seen talking to the player.

In edition 1002 of Soccer Laduma it was revealed that Chiefs was keeping tabs on the player. At the time, it was confirmed by sources that Chiefs had sent their people to watch the player in action at one of Eagles' games.

“Some people saw Chiefs officials talking to the player… This was after Eagles’ home match with (the) University of Pretoria at the Harry Gwala Stadium, where Chiefs were apparently monitoring the player’s performance. There were four Chiefs individuals talking to the player,” the crew was told at the time.

Local football agent, Gerald Baloyi, told the Siya crew that the player has since extended his stay with Eagles.

“Karabo Litabe has extended his contract with Royal Eagles. He is happy to stay at Eagles,” said Baloyi.

Litabe was previously linked with Cape Town City.

Oh ! I thought someone overheard the conversation between the 4 KC officials. I never knew that being seen with 4 officials means they are interested in you.

Chiefs just showed interest in Litabe but never approached or tabled any offer for the player's possible move to Naturena which means they were not in desperate need of his services,,simple as that, otherwise no story here editor.

@Boris Becker thanks Khosi I understand that. Players n agent should learn to turn down inadequate offers. I fail to understand why SAFPU is fighting instead of negotiating... I feel sorry for Bvuma bcz he is stuck in the middle
