Amakhosi Trio Remain Sidelined
Kaizer Chiefs trio of Ryan Moon, Emmanuel Letlotlo and Tsepo Masilela remain out of action as the year comes to a close, with all of them still nursing injuries.
Moon, 21, is recovering from a jaw injury that required surgery earlier this month, while Letlotlo hasn’t played at all this season after sustaining a serious knee injury. Meanwhile, Masilela was ruled out for the year back in September, after sustaining ankle ligament damage.
Steve Komphela was given a boost with the return of Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Kgotso Moleko to full training this week, but it will take a bit longer for others to be back in contention.
In an update on their official Twitter account, they said, “Ryan Moon, Emmanuel Letlotlo and Tsepo Masilela are still recovering from their various injuries. We wish them all a speedy recovery.”
At this point, it remains to be seen whether the players will be able to feature in any of the Amakhosi’s final three games of the year, but it does seem unlikely.
Chiefs’ next game sees them face Chippa United next week.
