Meyiwa missed the Amakhosi’s last two games due to suspension following his red card in the Telkom Knockout semi-final against Bidvest Wits, however, the Siya crew has been informed that he has travelled with the team for their clash with Chippa United this evening.
Meanwhile, though Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Kgotso Moleko are back in full training, Steve Komphela has confirmed that neither is ready to get back in the side just yet, with Ryan Moon and Tsepo Masilela both still working on their respective recoveries.
He told the club’s official website, “Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Kgotso Moleko are working their way back to full match fitness, while Ryan Moon and Tsepo Masilela are still recovering respectively from a jaw and ankle injury.”
Chiefs could move up to second place in the Absa Premiership this evening if they can manage to get a victory against the Chilli Boys, although a draw will see them draw five in a row for the first time since 2011.
The Glamour Boys face Chippa at 19h30 tonight.
