Kaizer Chiefs have sent their get well wishes to the club’s legends, Neil Tovey and John Moshoeu.
The two former Bafana Bafana players have been recovering from their hospital beds, from KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng respectively.
Tovey suffered a triple heart-attack earlier this week, while Moshoeu was hospitalised for an undisclosed illness. Chiefs’ Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung, has wished both Tovey and Moshoeu well.
“It was with great shock that we heard about the triple heart-attack our Amakhosi legend Neil ‘Mokoko’ Tovey suffered on Tuesday. We have been in contact with him and we are happy to hear that he’s on the road to recovery.
“Like Neil, Shoes is a player who we will always respect. They were both fantastic players wearing the Gold and Black. However, above all, they are great human beings. We also want to wish Shoes strength on his journey to get well soon,” Motaung told Chiefs’ official website.
Chiefs have asked people to respect the privacy of both families.
