Kaizer Chiefs’ new signing Keagan Buchanan is expected to be back in full training by next week.
The Amakhosi signed the former Bloemfontein Celtic midfielder in June this year, but he arrived at Naturena carrying a knee injury which he sustained last season.
The 24-year-old seems to have nursed his injury well and Chiefs could be boosted by his return to full training next week.
Chiefs provided updates on their other injured stars too - with Erick Mathoho and Camaldine Abraw facing lengthy spells on the sidelines. However, Siphiwe Tshabalalaand Buchanan look set to be ready to fight for their spot in coach Steve Komphela’s squad as early as next month, as revealed on the club’s official website.
Amakhosi will be in action tonight, August 23, at the Bidvest Stadium in Johannesburg, when they face Bidvest Wits for their first Absa Premiership encounter of the 2016/17 PSL season. The game is scheduled to take place at 19:30.
