Emmanuel Letlotlo hasn’t played for the Glamour Boys since the final game of last season as he helped them to a 1-0 victory over Bidvest Wits, with knee surgery making sure that he missed the majority of the 2017/18 campaign.
Now, as he looks to try and at least play a part before the season comes to an end, the 22-year-old has managed to join his teammates in training. Kabelo Mahlasela, who also had a knee problem, is still stuck pitchside.
The club stated on their official website, “Emmanuel Letlotlo has joined his teammates in training, albeit still taking it easy after a lengthy recovery period from his knee surgery.
“As for the regular update on the road to recovery of Kabelo Mahlasela, the midfielder is progressing well, doing physical drills pitchside.”
Chiefs have George Maluleka and Leonardo Castro who are doubtful for this weekend’s Nedbank Cup clash against Stellenbosch FC, with Ramahlwe Mphahlele suspended.
