The Glamour Boys are looking for a fourth consecutive victory on Tuesday night as they go up against the Lions of the North, and their physiotherapist, Dave Milner, has confirmed that both Erick Mathoho and George Maluleka will be back in contention for the game.
‘Tower’ has missed the last three games due to a groin injury, while Maluleka had to sit out the win over AmaZulu thanks to a thigh niggle, though both are now ready for action.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Milner said, “Erick is back in full training, he has fully recovered from a groin injury. George is fine and training with the team, it was a minor problem, but we thought it would be wise to take precaution to avoid worsening the injury.”
There was, however, no mention of Leonardo Castro, and it is expected that the Colombian striker will be on the sidelines for a couple of weeks at least as he recovers from an ankle knock.
Chiefs tackle Highlands Park at 19h30 on Tuesday night.
