Amakhosi’s Boost As Player Returns Ahead Of MTN8 Clash
Kaizer Chiefs have been handed a boost ahead of this weekend’s MTN8 clash, with a player returning to training prior to facing SuperSport United.
Dumisani Zuma has missed Chiefs’ last two games with flu after he played a major role in the MTN8 victory over Free State Stars, and it looks as though he will be available for selection for Giovanni Solinas on Sunday.
The 23-year-old scored against Ea Lla Koto as the Amakhosi booked their spot in the MTN8 semis, and he will be hoping to get on the scoresheet again if called upon against Matsatsantsa.
Meanwhile, Teenage Hadebe could also be set for a recall into the squad after he returned to full training last week, though the game comes too soon for George Maluleka and Virgil Vries, two players who are only back in light training and not yet able to play.
In other news, Andriamirado 'Dax' Andrianarimanana is still awaiting the final paperwork that will allow him to make his Amakhosi debut, and though he has recovered from a minor injury and is training at the club, it is unknown whether he will be able to feature before the end of this month.
