Kaizer Chiefs go into this weekend’s encounter with SuperSport United knowing that defeat could end their title hopes, but they will also have one eye on the Nedbank Cup.

Leonardo Castro, who is just one yellow card away from suspension, will have to tread carefully when Chiefs come up against Matsatsantsa on Friday, with a huge Nedbank clash coming up next weekend against Cape Town City.
Ernst Middendorp will know that the title chances of the Amakhosi in the Absa Premiership are already slim, given the fact that they’re currently seventh on the table, however they stand a very good chance of ending their trophy drought if they can hit form in the Nedbank.
SuperSport have their own suspension problem with their captain, Dean Furman, sitting this weekend out after his fourth yellow of the season on Sunday, though Friday night’s game sees Middendorp’s side suspension free.
Meanwhile, Chiefs have four other players - one of whom has been ruled out for the season - who are currently two yellow cards away from a one-game ban, though missing a game against Baroka is unlikely to be deemed as worrying as having to sit out the cup quarter-final on March 31.
Would you risk Castro ahead of the Nedbank Cup next weekend?
