Chiefs Announce Double Fixture Change
Kaizer Chiefs Have Changed Details For Two Games Next Year
Two of Kaizer Chiefs’ games in the new year – against Mamelodi Sundowns and Bloemfontein Celtic – have had changes made to them.
The Glamour Boys play their final game of 2017 tonight as they look to try and close the gap on Masandawana, and Steve Komphela will be hoping to end the year on a high after some difficult spells over the last 12 months.
Amakhosi’s first three games of 2018 will be going ahead as planned, but their clash with Sundowns in January has been moved to a later time – though will still be at FNB Stadium.
They explained the situation on Twitter, saying, “Please note that the Kaizer Chiefs vs. Mamelodi Sundowns match scheduled to kick-off at 15h30 on the 27th of January 2018 at FNB Stadium will now kick-off at 20h15.”
Meanwhile, the following month they have opted to move their encounter with Celtic from Durban to Johannesburg.
They added, “Kaizer Chiefs vs. Bloemfontein Celtic match scheduled to take place on the 24th of February 2018 at Moses Mabhida Stadium will now take place at FNB Stadium. Kick-off is still at 20h15.”
Chiefs face Ajax Cape Town on Saturday in their last match of the year at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
