Kaizer Chiefs have had a quiet few weeks as they look to bolster both their technical team and playing personnel, and they have already missed out on several reported targets.

The Amakhosi faithful were promised a complete overhaul at the club after going three seasons without a trophy for the first time in their history, although as things stand there has been no official word on any ins or outs at Naturena.

Chiefs have been linked with numerous players who they are believed to have been pursuing and both Orlando Pirates as well as Mamelodi Sundowns have pipped them to the post with several players.

The likes of Andile Jali, Vincent Pule and Meshack Maphangule were all on the Amakhosi’s radar as they plotted the way forward for their club, although they have since signed for Masandawana and the Buccaneers respectively. Meanwhile, Patrice Carteron, a reported coaching target, is set for Al Ahly in Egypt.

Now, with Chiefs also competing with their rivals for the signature of Mosa Lebusa at Ajax, they will be eager to make sure that they don’t miss out once again, although it is thought that they are moving quickly to tie up a deal with Madagascan international, Andriamirado ‘Dux’ Hasina Andrianarimanana.

Do You Think Chiefs Should Have Pushed Harder For Andile Jali?

i think chiefs is broke. it is not going to compete in the market. The best decision chiefs can do is to sell the team. That will minimize their stress level and everyone elses.

They still keeping up with the trend of not signing good players. They procrastinating on appointing a new coach so that they won't be under pressure to sign new players. Ai.

@Schakos WITS WON THE LEAGUE WITH FREE AGENTS DO U REMEMBER SUPERSPORT ALSO WON NEDBANK BACK TO BACK BY JUST SIGNING A LOT OF FREE AGENTS, THAT IS THE PROOF THAT SCOUTS OF THAT TEAM ARE WORKING HARD, UNLIKE BUYING SIX ZIMBABWEANS AND RELEASE ALL OF THEM NEXT SEASON.
