Manyama will have been happy with his contribution after nine months of not playing, especially given the result as Chiefs got their first league win of the season.
Next up was Mario Booysen, who helped Chiefs win back-to-back games and kept a clean sheet with the 2-0 victory over Free State Stars, with the former Ajax Cape Town man putting in a solid performance after being handed a starting berth by Giovanni Solinas.
On his debut, Booysen won more balls (25) and made more clearances (22) than any other player, and had the highest pass completion rate (93%) on the field.
Finally was the turn of Andriamirado 'Dax' Andrianarimanana, who got his first taste of life in the famous gold and black jersey with a cameo appearance against Ea Lla Koto, however his only contribution to the game was one foul and a yellow card, without him managing to have even a single tough before the final whistle after being brought on late in the game.
